Observations from the Antipodes

...of Madrid.

• Silverchair is apparently still a band. I am currently watching some live footage of them. I have seen a couple other videos where they seem like a watered-down Savage Garden/Muse lovechild. This song makes them seem like a very, very watered-down Shudder To Think, Like they finally stopped listening to Pearl Jam and started listening to Shudder to Think. yeesh.


• We started taking groups orders today. topped $200k


• Nobody knows why a certain musical, in which a man wears a mask on half his face, advertises with a full (double-sided) mask. Even the promoter/producers.


• The best part of working till half 10... walking home through the city at night. I like evenings. The worst part... not being able to chat up my wife because I was working till half 10.


• Our little musical about a bus is really, really good. I don't think I've ever REALLY wanted to see a musical again so soon... ever.


• Especially true if that musical has ALW anywhere near it


• I sound like Monsieur Snarky Post

I thought so. Well, dear reader, you are in luck... for soon, the wife will be here and we will be touring the SI. We'll eventually make it to the southern-most settlement... which means closest to Antarctica (save for SoAmerica). Antarctica! Gives me happy feet.
